Another gun buyback event is being held today in Brooklyn to get illegal guns off the street.

The Brooklyn District Attorney's office and the New York City Police Department are offering $200 bank cards for working handguns and assault rifles, no questions asked.

$20 is offered for rifles and shotguns.

The buyback is happening until 4 p.m. today at the Coney Island Gospel Assembly Church on Neptune Avenue.

Participants can get paid for up to three guns, but they can turn in as many as they would like.

Thousands of guns have been collected since the buyback program was launched in 2008.
